Washington commitment Landon Bell had never been to Tennessee’s campus. The Nevada athlete got to see Knoxville on Saturday with his 7-on-7 team in town.

“It’s a beautiful facility,” Bell told Off The Hook. “I would definitely love to come back out here. I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m going to plan it by myself, unless they’re really trying to get me to come to Tennessee.”

The three-star prospect got to take a look inside Neyland Stadium during his trip to Tennessee. He came away impressed with the facilities the Vols boast.

“It’s beautiful, I can’t lie. It’s the SEC, it should be nice and big and beautiful. I enjoyed it though, and the coach was telling me about the new upgrades they’re adding in the next two years. It’s super futuristic. It’s dope, I saw that and I was like ‘dang.’ I could see myself being over here at Tennessee, possibly.”

Saturday was one of the first times Bell got to interact with the coaching staff at Tennessee. Ranked the No. 7 prospect out of Nevada, Bell could see himself forming a relationship with the staff.

“When I got up there, the coaches seemed interested and they followed me on Twitter,” he said. “I’m sure we’ll start to build chemistry and build a relationship moving forward.”

At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Bell attends Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada. He pledged to Washington in September.

“Washington has a special place in my heart,” Bell said. “If Tennessee puts the gas on their recruiting, I would definitely consider it. I have my whole senior year to go, but obviously, Washington has a special place in my heart.”

Listed as an athlete, Bell says he’s being recruited primarily to play tight end. He expects himself to be a “faster” tight end once he gains some weight in college.

UCLA and Oregon have been involved in his recruitment. His recruitment slowed down when he committed to Washington, but UCLA will likely host him for a spring practice.
