Tennessee’s trip to Columbia on Saturday offers Josh Heupel and his staff a unique opportunity for recruiting.

Here’s a look at some prospects who may be influenced by a Tennessee win against South Carolina.

OT Kam Pringle

The four-star offensive tackle from Dorchester, SC seems to be leaning toward the Gamecocks. Pringle ranks as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation.

Pringle recently released his top-10 schools, which included NC State, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, and Ohio State.

OT Josiah Thompson

The four-star offensive tackle from Dillion, SC seems to be leaning toward South Carolina but holds a Tennessee offer.

A Tennessee win on Saturday may open the 6-foot-6 and 280-pound to Tennessee.

Tennessee extended the class of 2024 prospect a scholarship offer in June.

Thompson could add to Heupel’s deep 2024 class.

WR Mazeo Bennett

Bennett – who committed to the Volunteers on Oct. 16th – will be rooting for Tennessee on Saturday.

The four-star receiver is ranked as the No. 32 wide receiver in the class of 2024.

Bennett was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in May. He was also in Knoxville over the summer, visiting the campus in July.

The 5-foot-11 and 175-pound prospect finished 2021 with 25 catches for 661 yards and five touchdowns for Greeneville High School. He also made an impact on special teams, returning 13 kicks for 335 yards.

Bennett attends Greeneville High School in Greeneville, SC.
