Tennessee Tumbles in Latest College Football Playoff Reveal

Once in the driver’s seat, it seems as if Tennessee will fall far short of making the College Football Playoff, as expected. In the latest ranking by the College Football Playoff Committee, the Vols fell from No. 5 to No. 10 after losing to South Carolina 63-38 on Saturday.

Before the latest reveal, the Vols looked like they could sneak past a couple of other suitors for the CFP, such as the loser of the upcoming Ohio State-Michigan game or Texas Christian, if it somehow slipped up before the final four of college football is announced following the remainder of the regular season and conference championships.
