Tennessee is building on their recruiting momentum, picking up another commitment in the class of 2024.

In-state four-star prospect Kaleb Beasley announced on Friday he is verbally committed to Tennessee.

Bealsey made the announcement following his game on Friday night, where he tallied one interception as his Lipscomb Academy defeated Christ Presbrytarian Academy 43-21.

Beasley is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in Tennessee, and the No. 19 cornerback in the class of 2024.

Tennessee has placed a big emphasis on in-state recruiting for the class of 2024. It appears their emphasis has paid off, at least in Beasley’s case.

Beasley chose Tennessee over Penn State, LSU, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Auburn.

“Tennessee was the best fit for me,” Beasley told Rivals247. “It really feels like home. The energy in Neyland is ridiculous. The connection I have with Coach Huepel and (assistant coach Willie) Martinez really was a big part too. They are always checking up on me and my family and making sure we are ok… Tennessee made me feel like I was [sic] priority.”

Beasley has been a priority for Tennessee since the last coaching staff. He was extended a scholarship offer in December of 2020, and Heupel reaffirmed this offer in April of 2021.

Beasley was in Knoxville for Tennessee’s first win against Alabama in 16 years last Saturday. It was his fourth visit to Tennessee since June, when he first camped with Tennessee. Beasley was also on campus for Tennessee’s win against Florida.
