One of the top uncommitted prospects in the class of 2023 has announced his top four schools a week before his commitment date.
Vysen Lang narrowed his choices to four on Monday.
Tennessee is included in Lang’s top four, as well as Texas, Auburn, and LSU.
Lang – a three-star prospect – is expected to commit on Nov. 8.
Of his top four choices, the 6-foot-4.5 and 335-pound lineman has visited all but Texas.
It’s safe to say Lang was impressed with what he saw in Neyland Stadium. Scott Wiltfrong of Rivals247 gave a “crystal ball” prediction for Lang, projecting him to Tennessee.
“I love what coach Heupel is doing at Tennessee, Lang told ON3. The direction of the program stands out and coach Heupel already has Tennessee up to No. 2 in the nation. I like the players they have and I have a strong relationship with the staff too.”
Tennessee extended Lang a scholarship offer in February.
Lang attends Pike Road High School in Pike Road, AL. Nov. 8 will be a date for Tennessee fans to pay attention to as Lang seems to be leaning towards becoming a Volunteer.
