ATH KingJoseph Edwards

Edwards narrowed his choices to 15 on Sunday. Tennessee football was listed in his top schools, as well as Alabama, Georgia, N.C. State, Florida State, Oregon, Cincinnati, South Carolina, Southern Cal., Ohio State, Texas, Michigan, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, and Oklahoma.

At 6-foot-5 and 242-pounds, Edwards could likely play both sides in college, and projects as a tight end or an EDGE rusher. He ranks as the No. 38 prospect nationally and the No. 5 athlete in the 2024 class.

He attends Georgia powerhouse Buford High School in Buford. It is no surprise that he seems to be leaning towards choosing Georgia.

Edwards was in attendance for Georgia’s dominant win over Tennessee taking an unofficial visit.

Andrew Ivins of 247Sports projects Edwards will become a power-five starter. He also gave a crystal ball, saying the four-star will choose Georgia.

“When it comes to the catching passes, has shown time and time again that he can not only win 50-50 shots in the corner of the end zone, but also create separation on drag routes over the middle,” Ivins wrote. “Will eventually need to settle on one position, but should be viewed as one of the top mid skill athletes in the 2024 cycle given how he moves for someone his size. Ceiling might ultimately be highest as a stand-up edge player in a 3-4 front, but does have some of the required tools to emerge as a difference maker at tight end.”

WR Zycarl Lewis

Lewis announced his top eight schools on Sunday. Tennessee football was included along with Alabama, LSU, Kentucky, and Ole Miss, among others.

Lewis runs an 11.36-second 100-meter dash. The 5-10 and 160-pound playmaker attends Carrollwood Day High School in Tampa, Florida.

Lewis ranks as a four-star prospect and the No. 164 prospect nationally.

Safety K.J. Bolden

The No. 4 prospect nationally narrowed his list of schools down to 15 schools. Bolden had Tennessee in his top 15 with Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss, among others.

Bolden runs a sub-11 second 100-meter dash. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound safety played both sides of the ball for Georgia powerhouse Buford High School in Buford. He averaged over 20 yards per catch on offense for Buford.

Bolden helped lead Buford’s 4×100 team to a state record time. His speed translates to the football field.

Andrew Ivins of 247Sports predicts Bolden will become a power-five starter.

“Should be viewed as one of the top two-way prospects in the class of 2023 given early body of work at one of the Peach State’s top talent-producing programs,” Ivins writes. “Could certainly be deployed as an offensive weapon on Saturdays given how he helps move the chains on Fridays, but range and instincts are coveted on the back end of defenses these days, especially with so many College Football Playoff contenders trying to get as fast as possible. Likely to emerge as a safety that’s versatile enough to play center field on some downs, but can also get the job done in 1-on-1 coverage situations on others while also providing some value as a blitzer from time to time. Traits suggest that he will be on the radar of NFL scouts one day.”
