For the first time since 2011, Tennessee football will charge $5 to attend the spring game. Despite the fact that the Vols are on the rise as a program under Josh Heupel, is this an appropriate thing to do? Will it really help the $500 million fundraising campaign Danny White launched in the summer of 2021? Will the cost to attend the event increase in the coming years?

Slay also talked about whether or not the conference tournaments are worth it and if the NCAA is in danger of teams not even trying to play during that event given how they have shown not to factor it into seeding for March Madness. Brad Crawford of 247Sports ranked Tennessee football head coach Josh Heupel 10th on his list of the top 35 head coaches in the nation. Is that too high? Kirby Smart of the Georgia Bulldogs, Nick Saban of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Brian Kelly of the LSU Tigers were the only SEC coaches ahead of him. Smart was No. 1, and Saban was No. 2. Was that accurate?
