Updated: List of Recruits Set to Visit for Tennessee vs Alabama matchup

As we approach gameday, prospects continue to announce their plans to attend Tennessee’s ranked matchup with Alabama on Saturday. 

Let’s see who is expected to be on Rocky Top this weekend:

Defensive lineman Tomarrion Parker  

The four-star prospect announced on social media he would be in Knoxville this weekend. 

Parker is one of the biggest names remaining in the class of 2023. The programs in the running seem to be down to Clemson and Tennessee for the 6-foot-4 and 250-pound prospect. Steve Wiltfrong of Rivals247 gave Parker a “crystal ball”, predicting he would choose Clemson. 

Parker attends Central High School in Phenix City, AL.

Quarterback Jadyn Davis

Five-star prospect Davis is expected to visit Tennessee on Saturday, per Rivals247. He is ranked as the No. 4 quarterback in the class of 2024. 

Davis was extended a scholarship offer from the Volunteers in May of 2021. 

The 6-foot-0.5 and 190-pound prospect is having a stellar junior season for Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has tallied 22 touchdowns on 1,671 passing yards so far in 2022. 

Davis has already visited Georgia and Clemson this season, among others. 

Safety Anquon Fegans 

Five-star prospect Fegans announced he would be visiting Tennessee via social media. 

Fegans is rated as the No. 1 safety in the class of 2025. He finished 2021 with two interceptions and 50 total tackles. 

ATH Amari Jefferson 

Tennessee baseball commit Jefferson announced on Twitter that he would be visiting the Volunteers for football on Saturday. 

Ranked as a three-star prospect in the class of 2024 for football, Jefferson was first extended a scholarship offer in July. Jefferson has been committed to Tennessee baseball since June of 2021. 

Jefferson was also in attendance for Tennessee’s victory against Florida. 

The 6-foot-1 and 190-pound athlete attends Baylor school in Chattanooga, TN.

Cornerback Cristian Conyer 

The three-star Tennessee commitment announced via social media that he would be visiting this weekend. 

 Conyer has been committed to the Volunteers since July. He surprised many by choosing Tennessee over Kentucky. 

The 6-foot-1.5 and 170-pound prospect attends South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. 

Running back Micah Welch

The class of 2024 prospect announced he would be visiting Tennessee via Twitter.

Welch was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in January. The 5-foot-9 and 195-pound back was last in Knoxville over the summer. 

Welch attends Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, GA.

Cornerback Kaleb Beasley

The four-star class of 2024 prospect announced via social media he would be visiting Tennessee this weekend. 

The 6-foot and 179-pound cornerback was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in October of 2021. Beasley also attended the Volunteers’ win against Florida. 

An in-state prospect, Beasley attends Lipscomb Academy in Nashville. 

ATH Marcus Goree Jr. 

Three-star prospect Goree announced he would be in Knoxville on Saturday via Twitter. 

Goree is an in-state class of 2024 prospect, attending Bradley Central High School in Cleveland. He is ranked as the No. 10 prospect in Tennessee. 

The 6-foot-0.5 and 170-pound athlete was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in June. 

Quarterback Tavien St. Clair 

Class of 2025 prospect St. Clair announced via social media he would be visiting Tennessee on Saturday. 

St. Clair was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in May. He plays baseball as well. 

St. Clair attends Bellefontaine High School in Bellefontaine, OH.

EDGE Samuel M’Pemba

The five-star prospect announced he would be taking an official visit to Tennessee this weekend. The Volunteers extended M’Pemba a scholarship offer in August of 2020. 

The 6-foot-3.5 and 240 pound athlete released a top seven in July that included Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, among others. 

Steve Wiltfrong of 247 sports gave M’Pemba a “crystal ball” prediction, projecting that the prospect will commit to Georgia. 

M’Pemba attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. He is rated as the No. 24 prospect in the class of 2023.

Offensive lineman Vysen Lang

This three-star recruit announced via social media that he would be in Knoxville on Saturday. Lang was extended a scholarship offer from Tennessee in February. 

Lang also visited Tennessee for their historic win against Florida. Following his visit, Wiltfrong gave Lang a “crystal ball” prediction, projecting he would commit to Tennessee. 

Lang announced his commitment decision date on Nov. 8, a date to watch for Tennessee fans. 

He attends Pike Road High School in Pike Road, AL. 

Defensive lineman Tyree Weathersby 

Weathersby announced he would be back in Knoxville on Saturday. The four-star recruit verbally committed to the Volunteers in July. 

At 6-foot-4 and 251-pounds, Weathersby has the size to play in the SEC. He’s had great success for his high school, New Manchester, located in Douglasville, GA. He was his region’s defensive player of the year, tallying 67 tackles and six sacks in 2021. 

Weathersby is ranked as the No. 48 defensive lineman prospect in the class of 2023. 

ATH Elyiss Williams

The five-star prospect in the class of 2025 announced he would be visiting Tennessee this weekend via Twitter. Tennessee extended Williams a scholarship offer in June. 

At 6-foot-6 and 220-pounds, Williams plays edge and tight end for Charlton County High School in Folkston, GA. 

Although early in his recruitment, Georgia has appeared as the favorite to land the No. 21 prospect in the class of 2025. Williams was in Athens to watch the Bulldogs’ dominant win against Auburn. 

Tennessee could make a great impression on the young prospect, as well as the others, with a dominant showing on Saturday in an electric Neyland Stadium.
