Spring practice is very important to get a glimpse at what a team holds going into the fall. For prospects, it is a chance to look at what their future could look like.

Class of 2025 quarterback Cutter Boley and his family were at Tennessee’s spring practice on Tuesday.

The five-star quarterback had attended the Vols’ junior day in January, and he was in Knoxville in the fall for Tennessee’s matchup with Florida.

The way the Vols ran practice, as well as Josh Heupel and his coaching staff, impressed Boley.

“I met with Coach Halzle (Tuesday) morning, and I met with coach Heupel after practice,” Boley told 247Sports. “We talked about the offense and just what I thought about everything. … They didn’t really try to give me a recruiting pitch since I’ve been there so many times.”

Boley ranks as the No. 2 quarterback in the class of 2025, and the No. 1 prospect out of Kentucky. He also sits as the No. 21 prospect nationally.

The 6-foot-5 and 203-pound signal caller attends Lexington Christian Academy. As a freshman at Hodgenville (Ky.) Larue County, Boley threw for 1,391 yards and 11 touchdowns on 83-for-165, or just over 50% passing. He also ran for 245 yards and six touchdowns.

It’s safe to say Boley is a priority for Tennessee. He is also a priority for almost every major school in the country. Tennessee was the first camp Boley attended, but Ole Miss was the first to extend him a scholarship offer.

In-state Kentucky has stayed in heavy contact with the prospect, and he would be a big pickup for the Wildcats. More recently, Notre Dame has been gaining a lot of buzz with Boley.

Recently receiving an offer from the Irish, Boley has spoken highly of Notre Dame. He also has visits planned to other schools, like Penn State and Florida State amidst what will be a very busy offseason for the prospect.
