Tennessee continues to put up astounding numbers, both on the score board and in the record books. Even the defense made a statistical impression during the Vols’ 44-6 win over Kentucky on Saturday.

Kentucky was known for its downfield passing attack, led by projected first-round NFL Draft pick Will Levis, who struggled at quarterback for Kentucky. Levis completed just 16 of 27 passes for 98 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions.

Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker extended his consecutive games with a touchdown pass streak, which was formerly held by Heath Shuler, who threw a touchdown pass in 18 straight games during his career in the early 1990s.

Jalin Hyatt’s breakout season continues. He broke former Vol Marcus Nash’s record of touchdown passes in a season on Saturday against Kentucky. He also got to meet an all-time NFL great, which we chronicled here.
