Class of 2023 wide receiver Traylon Ray has set a date for his commitment. Ray would be a great addition to round out Tennessee’s 2023 class.

Ray announced he will commit on Friday, Nov. 4 at 12:30 p.m – narrowing his choices to Tennessee, West Virginia, and Mississippi State.

Ray is ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 46 wide receiver in the class of 2023.

Tennessee seems to stand a good shot at landing Ray. Compared to West Virginia and Mississippi State, the Volunteers are having a far better season. Tennessee may even be on its way to a National Championship.

Who wouldn’t want to play for an offense that puts up numbers like Josh Heupel’s?

Beyond the fact that Tennessee has been more successful this season, the Volunteers offered Ray before the other two prospective schools. Tennessee extended Ray a scholarship offer in March.

The 6-foot-1.5 and 186-pound receiver attends North Florida Christian in Tallahassee, FL.

Ray plays both sides for his high school, showcasing his athleticism. The senior also played baseball and basketball during his high school career.
